The Level 3 Smart Home Technician course allows for the integration of humans and technology. The 18-month course will require learners to work alongside a Senior Smart Home Technician or Designer on projects that vary in size and scale. Apprentices will help to install, configure and maintain the home technology ecosystem.

Candidates will be expected to work on construction sites and in homes, using a variety of equipment and services to build integrated systems that create controllable home experiences. Candidates will also be provided with adequate working knowledge of common hardware, software and audio/visual distribution, as well as fundamentals to deal with homeowners and colleagues in associated construction trades. Learners will work to deliver a simple, secure and sustainable customer experience that is in line with industry expectations and within project timelines.
